Defend Your Machines

The “man” is always trying to  spy on you.  There is not really much you can do and your options are shrinking by the minute. I mean hell, Walmart now has your picture because you want to buy tomatoes and lettuces.  While you still can there are few things that you are able to do to limit their invasion of your privacy.

Please note that the links and the procedures will be changing all the time.  Whenever I stumble on new ones I will upgrade the post.  However, focus on the ideas and make sure you execute them.

Browsers:

Use Firefox browser.  It is the least invasive and it tide to no big corporation that is collecting your data to sell it to others.

Disable The Location Popup Window:

This is not a browser issue, this is the site you visit issue.  Why does anyone need to know where I am when I read the news or log on any website.  They claim they are using it generically for marketing, I aam calling BS on that. Here is how you disable that popup window all together.
