How in the world could people convince themselves that their “animals” would rather be in a house than being in their house, nature? Are they so oblivious to believe that they are “saving” animals lives by adopting them?
It does not matter how comfortable your house is, it is not for dogs or cats. You want a prof, where do they do their business? Where do they keep their clothes? When was the last time you have seen them cooking? And what kind of 21st century person runs around picking dog drop. How did your dog and cat convinced you to pick their waste?
Why, I ask all these pet loving jack asses, why? The whole world have been saving animals from the shelters for God knows how long. It is not working is it! Shelters are always having adoption events and more animals are being offered for adoption on regular basis. Do you know who sponsor these animals and their adoption events? the “pet industry”. The people who want to sell you food, toys, heated blankets and all other BS items for your pet.
And what kind of human spend thousands of dollars on a pet a year while 10th of that money can actually feed a human being for year in some poor countries. You do not care about poor countries, what about homeless people in your country, down the street in a matter of fact.
People run around with their pets in hotels, on airplanes, in coffee shops and I find that extremely primitive and backward. In fact I think the more pets a society has, the more insecure its people are and the more “simple” that nation is becoming. I understand the “companionship” factor and the “unconditional love” myth, but I am sure there is a better source for that than a cat :).
