Long Term Investing

By | August 20, 2019

Have you ever heard of a “fund manager” that does not invest for the “long term”.  They encourage you to have to a long term vision and goal. They tell you that “time in the market” is more important that “timing the market”.  Until one day you call to talk to them and they tell you they are “gone”.  They themselves, cashed out!

The above methodology is true only when you have phony economy fueled by cheap money and debt.  You cannot fight the FEDs and do not ever go against the tape. That has nothing to do with the “ability” or the “knowledge” of these financial gurus. It is about herd mentality and as long as they all do the same thing, the herd is moving.  But the trick is what happens when shots are heard.
