Oil impacts us in many different ways, from the price we pay at the pump to the air we bearthe and it is obvious global impact in the environment. But some of us have it harder than others.
As usual, the most fregil segment of society, I mean global society, gets hit the hardest. The story of Africa has been the lack of water and food for a while. That is why millions are fleeing north and millions will still do. Sudan is now added to the list. A famine is around the corner. This could be easily avoided if either the local government (who does not care) or the international community intervene to prevent the race to the bottom. After all, Europeans have an interest in a healthy Africa. The alternative is massive migration that is going to cripple the functionality of European countries.
