The morons of society have became such savages that they do not know the meaning of “excuse me”. Have you ever noticed how people just walk in front of you, and 2 inches away from your face as it is business as normal. You will be very lucky if you hear excuse me.
But the idea of “excuse me” is (1) to alarm the person, give them time to adjust and yield and then let you by, not do to it after. After it becomes I am sorry. (2) it is a last resort, so if there is 3 people in the line and you can walk behind the last one, saying excuse me to go in between is not acceptable, that is lazy and you are a fucking asshole. (3) the ideas is not to invade people space or get so close to them that they have to be alarmed. When you violate that, you are not using the word correctly. Sad that I have to say this, but with the utter deterioration of civilization, I am sure I will probably explaining the word “please” soon.
