Many things we do in life are attributed to “convenience”, heck we even have a convenience store for that matter.
But as I sit at the “Bucks” and look at the line formed to get coffee, I cannot help wondering, when did it become more convenient to, even if you are passing right next to Starbucks on the way to work, to park your car, get out, stand in line make the order, wait, get back to your car and drive away, than make a cup of coffee at home and take it with you?
This is not about coffee it is about “feeling” you have achieved the status to buy Starbucks coffee. And the same is probably true to your Mercedes and your Million dollar home. It is mostly a selfie.
